About us

healthetia (pronouned hɛlˈviːʃə) was founded back in July 2008 by

Thomas Schulz⁠

in Switzerland.

He just started with community management of the biggest business network in Switzerland

XING Zürich⁠

where we realized the strength of an online and offline community, connecting like minded people and adding value.

There was no such network for healthcare professionals in Switzerland available at this time. So the decision (and naming) was born: health combined with

Helvetia⁠

— healthetia!

During 10 years the community lived as an official group within XING, connecting over 6.000 health professionals in Switzerland by organizing offline events, online webinars and a curated newsletter powered by

Medinside⁠

After moving with his family to Spain (Barcelona, now Bilbao) the community continued online setting up a digital conference, in collaboration with

Bayer Pharmaceuticals⁠

back in 2019.

Now we starting a next chapter, combining the experience and assets of the healthetia community.
